User Interface
The user interface is thoughtfully designed for an intuitive and efficient structural analysis experience. It comprises the following key elements:
App bar
Viewer
Bottom bar
The Bottom Bar in edubeam serves as a central hub for managing and manipulating various structural entities. Each tab provides intuitive access to essential tools for creating, editing, and refining different components of your structural model.
Nodes Tab
Access the Nodes tab on the bottom bar to open the nodes panel. Here, input the coordinates for each node, seamlessly modifying your structure as needed.
Elements Tab
Click on the Elements tab in the bottom bar to open the element panel. Select connecting nodes and specify properties like material and cross-sectional area.
Materials Tab
Click on the Materials tab in the bottom bar to open the material definition panel. Here, input material properties such as Young's modulus and density.
Cross Sections Tab
Click on the Cross Sections tab in the bottom bar to open the cross-section definition panel. Specify dimensions, shape, and other properties for each cross section used in your structure.
Results Tab
Click on the Results tab in the bottom bar to open the results panel. Here, numerically examine displacements, stresses, and other analysis results.
